However, the most important period for Kragujevac began in 1818, when it was declared the capital of Serbia.

The city of Kragujevac is located in the heart of Serbia. It is located in the valley between the mountain Rudnik and Crni vrh. The city was built on the banks of the river Lepenica and its altitude is at an altitude of 173-220 m. In addition, Kragujevac has a very specific relief, so that hilly landscapes and plains change.
